Order processing
We prepare and ship orders within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Because we ship perishable foods, we time shipments carefully so your order doesn't sit in transit over a weekend or holiday. For that reason, perishable orders placed late in the week may be held and shipped early the following week to keep your products fresh. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.
Carriers and methods
We ship via UPS. The available methods and rates are calculated at checkout based on your destination, the contents of your order, and the packaging required to keep perishable items fresh. Perishable products ship with insulation and cold packs as needed.
Transit times
Transit time is in addition to our 1–2 business day processing time and depends on the carrier and method selected at checkout, as well as the distance from our facility in Kawkawlin, Michigan. We recommend choosing a faster shipping method for longer-distance perishable orders to minimize time in transit.
Perishable shipments — please be available to receive
Perishable orders are time-sensitive. Please make sure someone is available to receive and refrigerate your order promptly after delivery. We are not responsible for spoilage that results from:
- An incorrect or incomplete shipping address entered at checkout
- A package that is delivered successfully but not collected or refrigerated promptly
- Delivery delays caused by the carrier, weather, or other circumstances outside our control
If a carrier delay or shipping problem affects a perishable order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will work with you in good faith. See our Return & Refund Policy for how we handle damaged or spoiled arrivals.
Shipping rates
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before you pay. Any promotions such as free or discounted shipping will be applied automatically when their conditions are met.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are unable to reroute a perishable shipment once it is in transit, and we cannot be responsible for orders sent to an address entered incorrectly.
Order tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your package and plan to receive it.
